As news filters out regarding the bizarre tale of 11-year-old abducted Jaycee Lee Dugard turned-found-29-year-old woman today, one can’t help but make parallels between this case, and the equally bizarre Austrian Fritzl case. In both cases a young girl is imprisoned and winds up having children by her abductor (though in the Fritzl case, the father actually imprisons his own daughter in some sort of custom-built dungeon and fathers several children with her, some of whom wind up living in the dungeon, and some of whom wind up living above-ground in the main house).
