Akshata Murthy Married To Rishi Sunak
Akshata Murthy, the daughter of well-known businessman got married to Rishi Sunak. On August 30, 2009, Akshata and Rishi were married at Leela Palace, old Airport road in Bangalore. It is reported that at the Standford Business School Rishi Sunak was Akshata’s classmate. The marriage of the daughter Narayan Murthy, the founder of Infosys co, was much simple as compared to the weddings of other business tycoons’ children. The marriage hall charges Rs 40,000/day which is also cheap as compared to the other popular marriage halls. The security however, was good and they were cover in the form of plain cloth cops. The rituals are scheduled to took place in jayanagar 3rd block at the Chamaraja Kalyana Mantapa.
Currently, Akshata works as a marketing director in San Francisco for a European firm while her husband Rishi Sunak is a partner at the UK-based activist, charitable hedge fund TCI. Rishi Sukan is Oxford graduate, Fulbright scholar and British citizen of Indian origin
TCI is abbreviation for The Children Investment fund and it is headed by Chris Hohn. The main purpose of TCI is to support children across the developing world through various projects and these projects ran with the help of super rich as the donate a large part of their wealth in charities.
